Principal Psychologist

Fixed Term Contract (18 months) | Part time role covering 28 hours per week.
Remote
Salary: up to £72,000 per annum (FTE)

Our well established client are looking for a Principal Psychologist to join their team to cover a Fixed Term Contract.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Provide Brain Injury Awareness training to people working across the criminal justice system, adapting training resources as required.
• Be involved in promotion of the service presenting at events and conferences.
• Write articles for publication and develop new research ideas.
• Interpret professional policies, ensuring that the services operate at the highest level of quality and current best practice. 
• Provide clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on all issues concerned with neuropsychological clinical practice and providing expert clinical consultation and professional guidance to clinical neuropsychologists, clinical psychologists and other clinicians within the company.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Psychology.
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (BPS accredited) or its equivalent to meet requirements to register as a practitioner psychologist with the HCPC.
• Registered Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC.
• Post Graduate training in Neuropsychology through an accredited route for the QiCN (e.g. PG Dip).
• Experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist including substantial experience as a highly specialist/ senior clinical psychologist within a neuropsychology setting.
• Significant, evidenced experience of Brain Injury Rehabilitation, including clinical responsibility for challenging behaviour cases.
